Date Nut Treats
Packed with Nutiva superfoods, these Date Nut Treats are the perfect bite-sized snack whenever you crave a sweet and healthy treat. You can enjoy these on-the-go or as a light dessert!
- 16 oz. Medjool Dates (about 1 1/2 Cup) Pitted
- 1 Cup Almonds Chopped
- 1 Cup Walnuts Chopped
- 1/3 Cup Nutiva Organic Hempseed
- 2 Tbsp. Nutiva Organic Chia Seed
- 2 Tbsp. Nutiva Organic Coconut Manna
- 3/4 Cup Rolled Oats
- 3 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- 1. Mash Medjool dates into a paste and add chopped nuts, seeds, manna, lemon and salt, or blend in a food processor with nuts,seeds, manna, lemon & salt .
- 2. Add the oats and cacao powder until mixed thoroughly.
- 3. Make small balls and roll in shredded coconut, cacao nibs, hempseeds or any chopped nuts you like.
- 4. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
